E-mail threat traced to Navi Mumbai residence July 27, 2008 10:26 IST Last Updated: July 27, 2008 11:21 IST Ahead of serial blasts in Ahmedabad, a raid was conducted at a residence in Navi Mumbai's Sanpada area following an allegedly threatening e-mail sent from a computer there. "We are investigating whether the e-mail was sent from the residence. Presently, personal verifications of the person living there are being carried out and it would be too premature to comment on it," a senior official from the Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) told PTI. Around 16 co-ordinated serial blasts rocked the city of Ahmedabad on Saturday, killing 38 people and injuring 90. The synchronised low intensity blasts took place a day after similar explosions rocked Bengaluru.
